Yes, it was stupid, but it was also art.
primer last 30 min. the short version. they messed things up and there was a third box that was turned on from the very beginning. aaron used that box to go back and try and correct it.and they do but now there is two versions of aaron and abe. so aaron leaves the country to start over. but abe stays behind to prevent the other aaron and abe to make another time machine.
