Whenever I update my MySpace profile, which isn’t too often, I spend the following few days fielding friend requests from the oddest of people, usually from Buffalo or the surrounding area. I add whoever I think is going to be amusing to have as a friend, regardless if I actually know them or not. Sometimes, this works but sometimes you’re stuck with shit like this:

It’s for this reason that I’m glad one of the archaic, (and baffling), features of MySpace is still intact, the direct Delete From Friends button at the bottom of every bulletin. It doesn’t seem to make any sense, a process that usually involves going into your friends’ list, individually selecting people and then deleting them can be done in a single swipe on a totally non-friends-related page.

But even with the changes MySpace has made over the past few years I think they get that sometimes you have a friend, (or “friend”), that posts ridiculous bulletins, or too many bulletins, and you can’t take it anymore and you just have to DELETE THEM RIGHT AWAY. It’s actually refreshing for a site so rooted in bad HTML and inane restrictions to get something like this right.

So, *SHaNizZL3*, it has, indeed, been real. I’ll be awaiting your request again whenever I update my profile, (which should be soon), until then, I hope you enjoy the prom. I really do.
